An interesting attempt at telling one of America's lost historic moments. Several errors and omissions are contained in it, and I therefore advise a rewrite and rerecord. However, kudos to John for posting it in .PDF and in MP3 formats. John, did you write the script?

Ross,
Thank you for your feedback! I was getting paranoid that no one liked it and were abiding by the "if you don't have anything nice to say..." maxim, lol.
No, I didn't write the script. 99% of it came from a website I found with a few grammatical changes and word replacements for clarification on my part. I was afraid there would be a few errors as I found other websites that contained slightly different accounts of some things. Not being in a place that is very convenient for fact varification by any means other than the internet I had to go with what I had. Hopefully no one will take my word as 100% correct but instead be intrigued enough to read more about it. Please reply and list my errors here in the forums so everyone will have the correct information (including me).
As far as omissions, that was a very complex situation as I'm sure you are well aware. There was no way I could include everything. I had thought about making it a two part series beginning with the living and working conditions of the miners at that time and then moving on to the Matewan Massacre and the Battle of Blair Mountain but I simply didn't have the time to do that much research.
I am thinking of doing an episode on the Buffalo Creek flood as I had many family members who were in it. Thankfully, all lived though most lost everything they owned. If I ever get around to it can I send you an advanced copy of my script so you can go over it and help me to avoid errors?
Again, thanks for the feedback and welcome to the forums!

John,
Sorry I'm so long getting back to you. I'm in the middle of class preparation before the fall semester, recording a new project and helping The History Channel to produce a new documentary on Appalachia. Lincoln county? What the heck are you doing in Texas? I plan on posting my timeline on here soon. It's the introduction to our studio's audiobook "When Miners March - The Battle of Blair Mountain". Runs about 10 minutes and tells the whole story in condensed form. More later...
