Hey everybody,
Thanks for visiting the new forums! I started this thread so I can get your recommendations on what you are looking forward to receiving as a gift or what history related items you would like to get now. When we get closer to Christmas I will post all these recommendations on the website so all your families will know what to get you!
Please feel free to comment on anything history related on this message board. I will be reading all the posts.
Thanks! Jason

I'll tell you what I'd like for Hanukah, if that qualifies. The Complete works of Edmund Burke (I don;t know if one exists, but it is probably quite expensive) The Supreme Court by the late William Rehnquist And...... Jets season tickets Wait- Better yet A Jets quarterback

Wow. As a mom, I've already started stockpiling Christmas gifts for myself, my husband, and my oldest son (age 9, also a history nerd). So far, I have the Ken Burns Civil War Documentary series DVDs, the History Channel American Revolution DVD set, and the Civil War Minutes DVD, confederate version (I'd get the union, too, if I ever discovered I had union ancestry, and I may just get it one day anyway...).

Since I plan to read history at University my wishlist will mainly consist of schoolbooks with A history of worldsocieties at the top. I have already borrowed it from the library and all I can say is I WANT IT NOW!!! ;D

Hey all,
I really didn't see as much action in this thread as I was hoping for as Christmas last year approached so I hope that everyone will continue to post their wish lists here and I will put something together for next year. I'm also in the process of obtaining history books to give away during the 4th quarter of this year. Hopefully, I will be able to get my hands one some great stuff to say thank you to all of the listeners out there.
Thanks for listening and stay subscribed!
