A blurb on the Russian Revolution might be cool. I could provide some sources on it.

If possible, I would like to use an episode to talk about an academic society I am part of: De Re Militari: The Society for Medieval Military History. I am its website editor, and our site - www.deremilitari.org - has a very extensive set of online resources that are freely available. I would like to have a few minutes to discuss these resources, and how we are able to republish hundreds of academic articles and primary sources. Also, I would like to help out with some shows that look at medieval topics. Please feel free to contact me at deremilitari@hotmail.com

I was watching Alfred Hitchthingy's North by Northwest today and thought an episode about Mount Rushmore would be interesting??? Quite a lot on that, there were to be more heads originally. Whilst covering that, the Crazy Horse memorial would be worth covering too: it's much larger, as the whole of Mt Rushmore would fit inside the head of Crazy Horse, and he's sitting on a horse. Not far from Rushmore either. They have a novel way of getting rid of the rock: you can take a piece free. www.crazyhorse.org/

I'm new to these forums, but have been listening for quite a while - what I'd like to request is maybe a series on the history of The Roman Republic and Empire through Byzantium...
Just a thought, keep up the great work.

I think a podcast about the Rio Grande Valley during the Civil War and the war with France and Mexico would be interesting.

I have a podcast called "12 Byzantine Rulers: The History of the Byzantine Empire" I found it on I-Tunes. It's a series of 10 (so far) podcast and might be what your looking for. Sorry... I hate to plug someone elses podcast. I'd like to hear about Harriet Tubman and her involvement with the Underground Railroad.
Something about Boudicca would be interesting too.
Oh, and Sir John Franklin.
What can I say? I have a thirst for knowledge!

Wow, my suggestion is don't do another podcast like Naturopathy. Really bad. Most of the shows have been really great though.

The idea for a podcast on this subject gets my vote. Perhaps, too, what the Nazi's tested, etc. during the Spanish Civil War. Thanks! Dave ;D I'd like to know more about Francisco Franco and the Spanish Civil War.

I already covered Franco in episode 61, but have yet to cover the Spanish Civil War. Thanks for the suggestion!

How about an episode about John Paul Jones. There was an article about his body in a recent edition of Smithstonian but it not mention why he is famous.
Thanks, Ben Katy TX
